Privacy Policy
Updated 7 October 2026. Ginnie Smart Ltd (Israel) builds smart home technology designed to respect your home and your privacy. Our core architecture prioritizes local on-site processing. Cloud data is hosted securely in the European Union (Supabase in Frankfurt), our AI inference runs on dedicated servers in Germany (Hetzner), and our website and lead intake run on Cloudflare. Your secret home key is held exclusively by your phone and your home, and is never readable by Ginnie staff.
When you use a cloud-connected home, we store your home's memories, device guide, conversation history for 90 days, usage and cost counters (daily and monthly message counts and live talk minutes), and first-party usage events containing a random installation identifier with no names, email addresses, or home contents. Feedback messages you send are stored and emailed to our engineering team. When connecting to Home Assistant in Mode A, your refresh token is encrypted at rest; in Mode B, no token is stored in our cloud because your home connects outward. When submitting our website contact forms, Cloudflare securely retains your name, email address, role, message, visitor IP address, and browser details for 12 months.
You maintain full control over your personal information. Tapping 'Delete my data' inside the app permanently removes all stored data for your home at once. Website inquiry records are deleted upon request by emailing [email protected]. We never sell your personal information or share it with third-party advertisers.
